Job summary

GIC PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a Data & Portfolio Analyst for Infrastructure to support internal asset management and portfolio monitoring. You will coordinate content for key governance forums, develop dashboards, and deliver both regular and ad-hoc analytics to inform investment decisions.

Ideal candidates possess finance/reporting experience within financial services, strong data skills (Databricks, SQL, Excel), and familiarity with SharePoint and knowledge management.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience from a Finance/reporting/mid-office background within Financial Services.
• Proficiency in SharePoint, knowledge management, and IT development.
• Experience in infrastructure and/or asset management is highly advantageous.
• Detail oriented with strong data analytics, reporting and financial literacy.
• Keen interest in IT and data solutions’ projects.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Proactive, self-motivated professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment.
• A good team player, collaborates well with various internal stakeholders globally.

PPDA provides data-driven analytics that support investment and asset management decisions across GIC's infrastructure business.

What will you do in the role?

Internal asset management and portfolio monitoring reporting and analytics

• Prepare and coordinate the contents and processes for the Portfolio Management Committees (Equities, Fund, Debts) and other senior management forums, including performance reporting, analysis on portfolio leverage yield profile and other metrics
• Responsible for various internal portfolio reporting and analytics (e.g. portfolio asset operational performance reporting, fund managers metrics, credit metrics)
• Perform regular and ad-hoc analysis on business operating and portfolio data/information

Infrastructure business operating and portfolio data management

• Partner with business teams to identify KPIs, trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement: work closely with Deal Teams, asset management, and internal technology teams to identify valuable data sources and translate business needs into well-scoped data solutions
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models to surface actionable insights: conduct business analysis and assessments (e.g. performance reviews, opportunity sizing, process/efficiency evaluation)
• Improve ways of working: apply data management best practices and improve internal processes by evaluating new tools, platforms, and capabilities such as but not limited to: data ontologies, graph databases, and agentic workflows
• Extract, clean, transform, and model data from multiple sources using Databricks, SQL, and related tooling: design, implement, and maintain pipelines that ingest, clean, structure, label, and store both structured and unstructured private markets infrastructure data
• Maintain data quality and governance: monitor data issues, investigate root causes, and design and track resolutions, reconciling data across systems and sources to maintain integrity, lineage, and governance standards
• Translate for the business: engage business users and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements, explain trade-offs in plain language, and ensure solutions are fit for purpose, including supporting user acceptance testing of data and system changes

Knowledge Management

• Support to build and manage the Knowledge Management platform
• Manage Knowledge Management platform, ensure regular update, effective organization and communication of INFRA’s knowledge resources and quality control of materials

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?
