Job summary

Mizuho Bank Singapore Branch is seeking an experienced corporate banking professional to lead the Japanese Corp. Banking Section No.3. You will manage relationships with Japanese multinational clients, drive growth, and coordinate cross-border facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of corporate banking experience with relationship management.
• Strong understanding of capital markets and credit analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and business writing skills.
• Experience in a Japanese banking environment and familiarity with Japanese culture is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with Japanese multinational corporate clients, ensuring high service standards.
• Develop strategies to deepen relationships and grow profitability.
• Oversee credit risk analysis, credit proposals, documentation, and facility setups.
• Coordinate with product specialists, risk, and operations to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Liaise with overseas branches, Head Office, and departments to deliver global solutions.
• Lead client acquisition and marketing initiatives using a consultative approach.
• Provide portfolio planning, account management, and sector P&L oversight.
• Mentor junior team members and stay aware of market trends and regulatory developments.
