Job summary

OCBC Bank is seeking an Analyst to support financial planning, performance management and decision-making for Emerging Business and Middle Market segments within Commercial Banking. You will partner with Finance, Product, Sales, Risk and Strategy to deliver timely analysis, budgeting, forecasting and insights.

Ideal candidates are numerate, detail-oriented and collaborative, with programming experience and proficiency in SQL, Python and Power BI.

Qualifications

Degree in Finance or equivalent with some programming experience.
Mature, proactive and analytical with an aptitude for numbers.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
Technical competencies in data visualisation and data analytics tools such as SQL, Qlikview, Python, Microsoft Power Platform (eg. Power Query, Power Pivot, Power BI).
Team player who possesses good communication skills and can multi-task under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Forecasting: Support the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting exercises.
Management Reporting and Performance Analysis: Produce regular management reports and insights for stakeholders.
Business Partnering: Work with product and sales teams to understand performance drivers and support reviews.
Data Analytics and Process Improvement: Drive automation, digitalisation and AI to improve reporting efficiency.
