Singlife is seeking a Lead Engineer to drive analysis, development and governance for applications components, including Singlife mobile app and Mysinglife web portal. You will be accountable for code quality, standards and delivery across sprints.

Ideal candidate has 5+ years with API services, Java/Node.js/NestJs, React Native, AWS with IaC, and experience leading engineers; familiarity with Generative AI tools; Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure non functional requirements are fulfilled: scalability, availability, security, performance, resilience
• Delivery Ownership: responsible for technical scope in every sprint/releases
• Operations: providesupport for L2 in areas such as Incident Management, Root Cause Analysis
• Rectify vulnerability / cybersecurity related fixes and ensure logging/monitoring

Purpose

The Lead Engineer performs analysis, rectification,development and technical governance for applications components and will beaccountable for the maintenance, quality of code, and compliance to standardswithin the platform. Accountabilities include but not limited to:

• Analysis, development, implementation& support of
  • Consumerapplications like Singlife mobile app and Mysinglife web portal
  • Automatedunit testing of the deliverable
  • Anyother form of integration
• Defining technical specifications ofsolutions in accordance with the agreed digital/platform strategy incorporatingnon-functional requirement such as, security, and system performance and Engineeringbest practices
• Driving continuous improvement throughtechnical and process innovation to optimize the way we deliver to ourcustomers, promoting ways to leverage business benefit at every opportunity

Responsibilities

Nature of Work

• Hands-on engineering: own high-riskcomponents, review MR

  • Ensurecoding standards & best practices are implemented
• Delivery Ownership:

  • Responsibleto ensure technical debt are managed within risk tolerance
  • Workingwith PO & Business users & Vendor(if required)
• Operations:
  • Providesupport for L2 in areas such as: Incident Management, Root Cause Analysis
  • Manage& Rectify vulnerability / cybersecurity related fixes
  • Ensureproper logging / monitoring and alert for every deliverable

• Accountable for solving problems anddealing with difficulties in line with policy, process and other guidelinesapplying technical knowledge and expertise
• Depending on the nature of the specificrole, problems can range from repetitive daily issues to complex technicalproblems requiring significant expertise

• Provide technical solutions fordeficiencies in process, application configuration and operational procedures

• Understand and proactively involve in programsrelated to Tech Upgrade, Platform Automation.

Experience

Education
