Job summary

GNV AVL FX Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced AVL Technician to install, configure, and operate sound, lighting, and video systems for events and services. You will ensure all AVL systems are tested and functional before each production and collaborate with coordinators and performers.

The role includes programming lighting consoles, audio mixers, and video switchers, plus configuring Dante/AVB networks.

Qualifications

• Must have Class 3/3A license.
• Experience with AVL gear and live event setups.

Key Responsibilities

• Setup & Operation:

  • Install, configure, and operate sound, lighting, and video systems for events, services, and productions.

  • Ensure all AVL systems are properly tested and functional before each event.

• Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

  • Diagnose and repair issues with AVL equipment, cabling, and signal flow.

  • Perform routine maintenance and inventory management of AVL gear.

• Programming & Configuration:

  • Program lighting consoles, audio mixers, and video switchers as required.

  • Configure digital audio networks (e.g., Dante, AVB) and video distribution systems.

• Event Support:

  • Provide live technical support during rehearsals and events.

  • Collaborate with event coordinators, performers, and other technical staff to meet production needs.

• Safety & Compliance:

  • Adhere to safety standards for rigging, electrical systems, and equipment handling.

  • Maintain organized, safe, and efficient workspaces.

• Documentation & Reporting:

  • Keep accurate records of setups, system configurations, and maintenance activities.

  • Report equipment issues or needs to supervisors

  • Possessed Class 3/3A license a must.
