Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Diploma-qualified inspector to perform visual and dimensional inspection of incoming and outgoing aircraft component parts in Singapore. You will ensure repairs meet technical data and regulatory standards, and you will process SAP transactions for works orders.

The role requires at least 2 years of inspection experience or the drive to pursue aerospace manufacturing, with a hands-on, detail-focused approach and ability to work night shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• 2 years' experience using inspection equipment or keen to pursue aerospace industry.
• Ability to understand SOPs and standard technical instructions.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
• Meticulous with an eye for detail and hands-on approach.
• Willing to work night shifts and overtime as needed.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of incoming and outgoing aircraft components.
• Perform incoming, in-process and final inspection of repairable parts to ensure conformance to documents and repairs.
• Ensure parts are repaired according to prescribed standards and procedures.
• Understand current specifications involving inspection tolerances, limitations and procedures.
• Conduct inspection in accordance with regulatory approved technical data.
• Carry out SAP transactions and update works orders in SAP.
• Attend EH&S training and ensure safety adherence.
• Support continuous improvement programs and CORE activities.
