Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, is seeking an Onsite Quality Inspector in Singapore to perform visual and dimensional inspections on aircraft components. You will review drawings, reports and procedures to ensure airworthiness and compliance.

The role requires a Diploma in Engineering, 2 years of inspection experience, and the ability to interpret CMM and other inspection tools. Rotating shifts and overtime may be required, with emphasis on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or a closely related field.
• 2 years of relevant quality inspection experience.
• Familiar with inspection methods, tools and techniques used for airworthiness of parts.
• Proficient with inspection equipment and visual aids (Stylus, Vernier Calliper, Shadowgraph, GapGun).
• Must pass vision and color blindness tests.
• Ability to understand technical instructions, drawings and SOPs.
• Meticulous with attention to detail and hands-on approach.
• Willing to work rotating shifts (Day & Night) and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final visual and dimensional inspection on aircraft components.
• Inspect components and ensure conformance to drawings, work instructions and specs.
• Prepare inspection reports.
• Interpret CMM and blue light inspection reports.
• Understand inspection tolerances and procedures established by product manufacturer.
• Participate in audits and inspections as required.
• Adhere to EH&S regulations and CORE activities.
• Be open to learning new advanced technology.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned.
