Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Singapore is seeking a Diploma-qualified Quality Inspector to join our onsite aerospace manufacturing team. You will perform in-process and final inspections of aircraft components, verify conformance to drawings and specifications, and prepare inspection reports.

The role requires 2 years of relevant experience, familiarity with inspection methods and common tools (e.g., Vernier calipers, CMM), and the ability to read basic technical instructions and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or relevant discipline.
• 2 years of relevant quality inspection experience.
• Familiar with inspection methods, techniques, and tools to determine airworthiness of parts.
• Proficient with inspection equipment and visual inspection aids.
• Pass vision exam and color blindness test.
• Ability to read technical instructions, drawings and SOPs.
• Meticulous with detail and hands-on.
• Willing to work rotating shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final visual and dimensional inspection on aircraft components.
• Inspect components against drawings, instructions and specifications.
• Prepare Inspection Reports.
• Interpret CMM, Blue light inspection reports.
• Understand inspection tolerances and procedures.
• Participate in audits and inspections as required.
• Adhere to EH&S regulations and CORE initiatives.
• Learn new advanced technology and perform other duties as assigned.
