Job summary

Air New Zealand in Singapore seeks an Engineering Manager, Heavy Maintenance Support to plan, lead and manage the delivery of engineering and maintenance services, ensuring safety, quality, cost efficiency and performance.

You will lead heavy maintenance delivery with suppliers, support business planning, manage budgets and drive improvements across the fleet availability programme. A degree or equivalent aviation experience is required, with Singapore work rights preferred.

• Significant aviation engineering experience.
• Demonstrated leadership in planning and delivering complex programmes.
• Proven project management and people leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead and manage delivery of heavy maintenance engineering and maintenance support services.
• Develop and manage operational budgets and strategic plans.
• Drive continuous improvement to maintenance quality, safety and cost efficiency.
• Build strong relationships with internal customers, maintenance providers and stakeholders.
• Lead onsite support teams and ensure compliance with maintenance planning and engineering standards.
• Support medium- to long-term heavy maintenance planning and capability development.
