Job summary

Pratt & Whit­ney Canada (SEA) PTE LTD in Singapore, part of RTX, designs, builds and services aircraft engines. We seek technicians to disassemble and assemble engines and modules, follow the Overhaul Maintenance Manual, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidates should have a NITEC/Higher NITEC in mechanical or electrical engineering with at least 2 years in engine disassembly/assembly or testing in aviation, plus good technical drawing understanding and SAP experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC / Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or any other related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years work experience in engine disassembly/assembly or test in aviation industry.
• Able to display Continuous Improvement competencies.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with a positive attitude towards change management.
• Good understanding of technical drawing.

Responsibilities

• Utilize machines/ equipment/ tools to carry out disassembly and assembly functions of engines, its associated modules, parts, components or accessories.
• Execute operation procedures within the cell based on Overhaul Maintenance Manual
• Solve technical issues and problems as appropriate when encounter in their daily work.
• Actively support and participate in EHS and Continuous Improvement and Ethics culture projects and any other corporate initiatives.
• Assist the Operations Leaders in their daily operations to achieve production targets, corporate goals and discipline.
• Carry out SAP transaction and make necessary changes to works order in SAP.
