Aurrigo Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Safety Operator to join the Operations team at Changi Airport, Singapore.
Based at Terminal 1, you will run and test the Auto-DollyTug baggage vehicle, perform safety checks, and monitor airside operations alongside engineers. You must hold a full Singapore driving licence with at least five years of driving, remain under low demerit points, and communicate effectively under pressure.
Aurrigo is a leading developer of autonomous vehicle technology. You'll join our operations team as an Autonomous Vehicle Safety Operator, reporting to the Operations Manager. You'll primarily be working at Changi Airport in Singapore, based at our offices in Terminal 1 and spending much of your time airside running and testing our autonomous baggage vehicle platform, the Auto-DollyTug. You will be fully trained to operate the latest in autonomous vehicle technology, including our autonomous pods, shuttles, and the aviation equipment which is where you'll spend most of your time.
Perform daily, weekly and monthly safety checks before setting out and ensure the vehicle is clean and presentable
Monitor an autonomous baggage vehicle (Auto-DollyTug) as it performs operations around the airport, including driving the airside roads, picking up passenger bags, loading an aircraft, or performing other tests alongside colleagues from the engineering team
Record daily running data and report back to the project team
Fill in necessary reporting forms promptly and to a high standard in the event of an incident or near miss
Work in close partnership with stakeholders from the airport, ground handling agents, airlines, and other project partners
Manually drive the vehicle around for engineering, testing or other purposes
Monitor vehicles that are being tested with new capabilities or in new environments for the first time
Current and full SG Licence with a minimum of 5 years driving experience, no more than 3 demerit points and no prior disqualifications or prior offences for dangerous driving, driving whilst unfit, etc.
Good communication skills
Able to perform well under pressure
Perform with a high level of concentration over long periods of time
Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge, e.g. how to change a wheel
Basic MS Office skills, e.g. MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, etc.
Flexible working hours – capacity to work weekend or evening hours with at least 2 weeks notice
Previous airside experience for a ground support agent, airline, or airport (preferred)
Previous experience driving e.g. forklift truck, pallet loaders, taxi, bus, HGV etc. (preferred)
Interest in technology, computing, or automotive (preferred)
