GrabTaxi Holdings Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an on-site Operations Supervisor to lead our AV depot operations.

You will directly oversee site coordinators, manage depot readiness, support incident response, and ensure safe, mission-ready autonomous vehicles for daily missions. You will report to the Manager, Fleet Operations (AV), and collaborate with product, engineering, safety, and training teams to drive KPI improvements, SOPs, and efficient scheduling across shift-based operations at

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree holder with at least 2 years in operations, fleet management, or related fields.
• Experience in depot operations, mobility, or front-facing operational roles.
• Technical knowledge of autonomous vehicles, robotics, or IoT deployments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site coordinators, in-vehicle safety drivers, and field operators to ensure safety during daily operations.
• Manage scheduling, shift assignments, and timekeeping; collaborate on hiring and training of staff.
• Coordinate with safety supervisors to ensure vehicles are safe, ready, and maintained to standards.
• Provide feedback to product/engineering teams by translating operational challenges and insights into actions.
• Oversee on-site depot operations including parking, charging, and staging of autonomous vehicles for missions.
• Establish, track, and analyze KPIs related to safety and uptime; identify trends and improvements.
• Design and refine SOPs for safety, incident response, and coordination; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify process gaps and lead continuous improvements for efficiency, safety, and scalability.

GrabRentals (GR) is a core pillar of Grab's Mobility business, with the primary goal of securing vehicular and productive driver-partner supply for Grab's ride-hailing marketplace.

The GrabRentals team houses its own strategy, partner management & productivity, pricing & product design, sales, marketing, operations et al. functions, and also works with other teams in Grab spanning business, operations, tech, and analytics.

In the Strategic Projects team, we are focused on ensuring the optimization of our existing business and the growth of new businesses, including Autonomous Vehicles (AV).

Get to know the Role:

You will play an important role in the day-to-day operations of the autonomous vehicle business.

As part of the business operations team, you will be someone on the ground. You will directly oversee site coordinators, manage depot readiness, support incident response, and charge, prepare, and maintain vehicles for daily missions. You will be in charge of people management, operational planning, safety compliance, and lead problem resolution to support the safe and efficient running of AV operations.

You will report to the Manager, Fleet Operations (AV), onsite in our Grab Depot at Punggol.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary supervisor for our team of site coordinators, in-vehicle safety drivers, and field operators. Your main responsibility is to ensure they are performing their responsibilities safely during daily operations.
• Manage all aspects of driver and operator scheduling, including shift assignments and timekeeping. Collaborate with hiring and training teams on the hiring, onboarding and training of all operational staff.
• Coordinate with safety operator supervisors to ensure vehicles are safe, operationally ready, and maintained to the required deployment standards.
• Be the critical link between operations and the product/engineering teams. Translate operational challenges, insights, and opportunities into actionable feedback to guide the design and iteration of the product and service offerings
• Oversee all on-site depot operations. This includes managing the efficient parking, charging, and staging of autonomous vehicles to ensure they are mission‑ready. You will oversee depot staff and ensure they perform all activities are performed safely.
• Establish, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs). You will oversee the monitoring of performance metrics such as safety and uptime, identifying trends, and generating insights for improvement
• Design, implement, and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all aspects of operations, including safety protocols, incident response, and overall coordination. Uphold and enforce all operational safety protocols, both in-vehicle and at the depot. Ensure the team is compliant with all company policies and regulatory requirements
• Identify process gaps and lead continuous improvements to improve operational efficiency, safety, and scalability.

Essential Skills You Will Need

• Diploma or Degree holders
• You have at least 2 years of experience in operations, fleet management, transport, mobility, depot operations, or a similar front-facing operational environment.
• Technical knowledge or direct experience with autonomous vehicles, robotics, or IoT deployments
• Strong coordination and people management skills, with the ability to manage shift-based teams.
• Excellent planning and coordination ability, especially in scheduling, resource allocation, and daily operational execution.
• Demonstrate responsibility and safety discipline, with the ability to enforce procedures.
• Calmly and efficiently respond to incidents, operational disruptions, or urgent issues.
• Excellent engagement skills, with the ability to work with front-facing teams, product teams, and engineering teams.
• Comfortable working with operational data and KPIs to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Willingness to work on‑site and support shift‑based or mission‑based operations when necessary.
