Job summary

Venti Technologies is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, integrate, validate, and support electrical systems used in autonomous industrial vehicles. The role blends hands-on vehicle integration with disciplined engineering of power distribution, wiring, sensors, and drive-by-wire interfaces.

The candidate will design electrical schematics, define power budgets, integrate CAN/Ethernet networks, and support testing, validation, and field deployments across international teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of DC electrical systems, power distribution, grounding, and wiring harnesses.
• Practical knowledge of CAN bus and Ethernet-based systems.
• Experience reading and developing electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Hands-on experience with electrical test and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in lab and field environments.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle electrical integration including 12 V / 24 V systems and power distribution.
• Develop and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness documentation.
• Define voltage, current, grounding, protection, and power budgets; verify loading.
• Integrate CAN / CAN FD / J1939, Ethernet, and serial interfaces; ensure network reliability.
• Select connectors, cables, power supplies, sensors, and hardware per requirements.
• Perform bench testing, vehicle commissioning, and functional checks.
• Troubleshoot electrical, grounding, and communication failures using diagnostic tools.
• Provide field support for prototypes, production builds, and deployments.
• Develop and execute test plans for power behavior, transients, and environmental conditions.
• Maintain BOMs, drawings, and change records; document engineering changes.
• Coordinate with suppliers on components and ensure quality.
