Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 years of professional experience, including at least 1 year in automotive.
Background in structural component process engineering or as a SQE required.

Responsibilities

Conduct quality system assessment during supplier onboarding and manage related risks.
Collaborate with procurement for capability assessments and strategic supplier planning.
Lead new part qualification (e.g., PPAP) and manage project risks to timely completion.
Assist in quality coaching for underperforming suppliers and provide technical support.
Summarize lessons learned from supplier incidents and conduct training to improve SQE competency.
