Job summary

Helius Technologies in Singapore is seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to strengthen our enterprise testing team. You will maintain existing Selenium Java suites and lead the expansion into Playwright-based E2E tests for web UI and REST APIs.

You will integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions), utilize AI-assisted tooling for faster test data generation, and apply strong Java automation skills with SQL and API testing across the stack.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of total experience in Software Automation Testing.
• Strong hands-on coding skills in Java with Selenium WebDriver.
• 6 to 12 months or above of recent hands-on experience using Playwright.
• Experience with REST API testing and SQL.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with a strong foundation in Selenium with Java and recent hands-on experience in Playwright to join our team for a key enterprise client project.

In this role, you will maintain existing automation suites and lead the transition/expansion into modern E2E test frameworks. Leveraging your solid background in Java automation along with 6-12 months of practical Playwright experience, you will build, execute, and optimize scalable test suites for web UI and REST APIs using modern AI-assisted tools.
