Job summary

EPAM Systems in Singapore is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to build reliable automated test coverage for web apps built on Java microservices and React. You will design scalable UI automation (Selenium WebDriver with Java or Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript), expand API testing, and integrate tests into CI/CD to reduce flaky tests and improve end-to-end quality.

You will collaborate with Agile teams to deliver high quality software.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with UI test automation using Selenium WebDriver or Playwright.
• Programming in Java or TypeScript/JavaScript with OO or modern practices.
• Experience building or extending test automation frameworks and scalable suites.
• Knowledge of API automation and REST fundamentals using REST Assured or Karate.
• Familiarity with test runners such as JUnit or TestNG.
• Experience with version control and build tooling such as Git, Maven or Gradle.
• Exposure to CI/CD integration using Jenkins or similar tooling.
• Understanding of microservices testing with troubleshooting and defect isolation.
