Job summary

VisionPower Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Pte Ltd (VSMC) in Singapore seeks an experienced RTD/Scheduling Engineer to drive dispatching rules and scheduling in a 300mm fab. The role focuses on balancing throughput, cycle time, and equipment utilisation within an automated manufacturing environment.

You will collaborate with Automation, IT and Manufacturing teams to embed RTD and scheduling rules into fab workflows, analyse performance data, and push continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, IS, or Business Analytics.
• Good SQL skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills with operations, engineering, and IT.
• Willingness to participate in rotating night on-call / on-duty rotations.
• Good team player.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain dispatching rules for 300mm wafer fabs to balance throughput and cycle time.
• Design scheduling algorithms to balance fab priorities and reduce bottlenecks.
• Enable full automation by integrating RTD and scheduling into MES and automation systems.
• Collaborate with Automation, IT and Manufacturing to embed rules into fab workflows.
• Analyse fab data to maximise efficiency and minimise bottlenecks.
• Monitor automation performance and drive corrective actions.
• Partner with manufacturing, planning and engineering to align automation with goals.
• Document and prioritise business requirements for RTD, scheduling, and MES.
• Train new team members as needed.
