Job summary

Constructor Tech in Singapore seeks a Technical Automation QA with Playwright and TypeScript to design and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web and API testing. You will collaborate with development, DevOps, and QA to ensure automation excellence across delivery stages.

You will drive CI/CD integration, mentor peers, and explore AI-assisted testing and MCP-based components to enhance testing efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

• BS degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in QA and automation, with 2+ years using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Proven ability to build test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, QA methodologies, and automation design.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python for test development.
• Experience with REST API testing, SQL and relational databases.
• Familiar with Jenkins, GitLab CI and Git for CI/CD.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript for web and API testing.
• Define and evolve test automation strategy, processes, and best practices.
• Develop robust, reusable test suites for regression, smoke, and integration testing.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and fast feedback.
• Collaborate with developers and DevOps to ensure stable test environments and data.
• Apply white-box and gray-box testing to cover frontend and backend components.
• Contribute to AI-assisted testing tools and automation intelligence initiatives.
• Mentor peers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Improve test performance, reliability, and reporting visibility.
