Job summary

3 CUBED BUSINESS CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Lead Quality Engineer Test Automation with expertise in Playwright and Selenium to drive robust automation across web applications.

You will design scalable frameworks, develop test suites for functional, regression, and integration testing, and define acceptance criteria with product owners. CI/CD integration and Agile participation are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Quality Engineering with hands-on Playwright UI automation.
• Strong experience with Selenium and Java-based automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Java for test development.
• Solid experience with the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern.
• Hands-on history integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA lifecycle.
• Experience with defect management and test management tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable end-to-end test automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript).
• Develop and maintain automated test suites for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Partner with developers, analysts, and product owners to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
• Execute UI and API testing leveraging Playwright capabilities.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Rally, driving resolution with engineering teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Create and maintain test reports and dashboards to provide visibility into quality metrics.
• Contribute to test planning, estimation, and release readiness for new features.
