Unknown applies for an Automation / Project Engineer role based in Singapore, strengthening the engineering team with focus on plant automation, equipment upgrades, and CAPEX initiatives across manufacturing lines.

Responsibilities include reviewing P&IDs, drawings and specs; maintaining automation systems; and coordinating with Production, Quality, Maintenance, R&D and EHS plus external vendors to ensure safety, quality, budget and timelines. GMP/HACCP exposure is advantageous.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Instrumentation or related engineering.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing.
Experience with PLC, SCADA, SAP DM and industrial networks advantageous.
Exposure to GMP and HACCP in food & beverage, pharmaceutical or FMCG manufacturing advantageous.

Responsibilities

Maintain and troubleshoot plant automation systems, instrumentation and industrial networks.
Review P&IDs, engineering drawings and technical specifications; support equipment reliability and root cause investigations.
Support engineering projects from planning through installation, commissioning and handover, including CAPEX initiatives and equipment upgrades.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, R&D and EHS; liaise with vendors, system integrators and contractors to meet safety, quality, budget and timeline requirements.
Identify opportunities to improve automation reliability, manufacturing efficiency and plant performance.
