Job summary

PVH (Tommy Hilfiger/Calvin Klein) is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to automated machine design, including conceptual and detailed mechanical work. The role involves creating solid models, layouts, and BOMs for assemblies and sub-assemblies, and preparing final designs and production data.

The ideal candidate holds a Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with experience in automation systems, jigs and fixtures, robotics, or conveyors, and demonstrates strong communication

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in mechanical engineering is required.
• Experience designing automation systems, jig and fixture, robotics and conveyor systems is preferred.
• SolidWorks proficiency is desirable.
• Ability to lead projects and communicate with customers, vendors, engineers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Conceptual and detailed machine design focusing on mechanical aspects.
• Prepare solid models, layouts, views and BOMs for design machine assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• Prepare final design configurations, layouts and production/engineering data.
• Assist in preparation of machine documentation, specifications and manuals.
• Work independently or as part of a team; be self-motivated and organized.

Roles and responsibilities:

• To prepare solid models, layouts, views and bills of materials for assigned design machine assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• To prepare final design configurations, layouts, solid models and production/engineering data.
• To assist in preparation of machine documentation, specifications, manual.
• Able to perform assigned tasks independently or through team activities.
• Self-motivated, resourceful and organized.

Job Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma or relevant in Mechanical Engineering.
• Preferably with working experience in designing automation systems, jig and fixture, robotics and conveyor system.
• Proficiency with Solid Works is desirable.
• Ability to lead, manage project and communicate well with customers, vendors, engineers, technicians and team members.
