Job summary

ChemLex is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our new automated R&D and production facility in Singapore. You will design and maintain on-site electrical systems, develop PLC programs, and support the integration of AI automation in pharma and chemical synthesis.

Key duties include creating electrical cabinet drawings, overseeing installation and commissioning, and coordinating with suppliers. Fluency in English, at least 3 years in electrical design, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field.
At least 3 years of experience in electrical design.
Strong knowledge of servo and stepper motor control; familiarity with robotic motion.
Proficient in PLC programming and hardware; capable of independent design.
Strong communication skills; English fluent.
Willingness to travel internationally for training.

Responsibilities

Design overall electrical solutions and select components.
Develop and debug PLC programs, design and debug HMI, assemble and debug electromechanical systems.
Design and produce electrical control cabinet drawings.
Oversee system installation, commissioning, and related technical documents.
Communicate with electrical system suppliers on technical matters.
