Job summary

CUTE GREEN VENTURES PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced automation engineer to lead DeltaV DCS configuration, validation, and CQV activities for GMP-regulated environments.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, work with vendors, and ensure compliance with 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, and GAMP5 while maintaining system integrity across development, test, and production. This role requires strong project management, troubleshooting, and documentation skills, with hands-on DeltaV

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with DeltaV DCS and validation in regulated environments (GMP/FDA/EU Annex 11).
• Familiarity with IQ, OQ, IOQ/PQ protocols and change-control processes.
• Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform DeltaV Batch configuration including recipes, phases, EM, and CM.
• Lead DeltaV system validation activities, including IQ, OQ, and IOQ protocols.
• Manage system administration and maintain configuration integrity across development, test, and production environments.
• Troubleshoot, validate, and support integration of standalone systems with DeltaV DCS.
• Lead automation commissioning and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for facility upgrades.
• Coordinate CQV activities with cross-functional teams.
• Generate and execute validation documentation for DeltaV and Rockwell BAS in line with GAMP5, 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11.
• Liaise with vendors, internal stakeholders, and IT teams to implement upgrades and resolve issues.
• Provide routine operational support for automation and control systems during maintenance and shutdowns.
• Engage in incident resolution, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform DeltaV Batch configuration including recipes, phases, equipment modules (EM), and control modules (CM).
• Lead and execute DeltaV system validation activities, including authoring and executing IQ, OQ, and IOQ protocols.
• Manage system administration and maintain configuration integrity across development, test, and production environments.
• Troubleshoot, validate, and support integration of standalone systems with DeltaV DCS.
• Lead automation commissioning and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for facility and equipment upgrades.
• Manage and coordinate CQV (Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation) activities with cross-functional teams.
• Generate and execute validation documentation for DeltaV and Rockwell BAS systems, in compliance with GAMP5, 21 CFR Part 11, and EU Annex 11.
• Liaise with equipment vendors, internal stakeholders, and IT teams to implement upgrades and resolve system issues.
• Provide routine operational support for automation and control systems including during preventive maintenance and shutdown periods.
• Engage in incident resolution, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to maintain operational excellence.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 5+ years of experience in automation engineering with a strong focus on DeltaV DCS.
2. Hands-on experience with validation and compliance for regulated environments (GMP, FDA, EU Annex 11).
3. DeltaV DCS (Batch, Safety, Historian, Configuration, Administration)
4. Rockwell BAS, SCADA, PLC (Allen-Bradley, Yokogawa, Invensys)
5. Validation protocols: IQ, OQ, PQ, IOQ
6. GAMP5, 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11, ASTM E2500
7. MES, OPC (DA, UA), Fieldbus, HMI systems
8. SDLC & Change Control documentation
9. Strong project management and stakeholder communication.
10. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
11. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and train junior engineers.
