Job summary

Mercuria is seeking a Data Analyst cum Accounts Payable (AP) support role to drive digital transformation in finance. You will identify automation opportunities, streamline processes, and apply AI to boost efficiency.

You will collaborate with Operations, IT, and business teams to design scalable automation using Power Platform, Python, Power BI, and emerging AI tools such as Copilot and Claude, while supporting AP and accounting tasks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
1–2 years in automation, digital transformation, or data analytics.
Hands-on experience with Power Automate, Power BI, Python, SQL, and advanced Excel.
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency.
Design and develop automation using Power Automate, Python, and Microsoft tools.
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
Build data extraction, transformation, validation, and consolidation processes.
Improve data quality and governance practices.
Provide AP backup and support during leaves.
Lead automation efforts across AP and other accounting tasks.
Prepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across regions.
