XtalPi Inc. is seeking overseas PhD talent in Chemistry to join our Shanghai-based Future Chemistry Division. This role combines synthetic chemistry with automation and AI technologies to transform traditional synthesis into an intelligent workflow.

You will design automated synthesis plans, collaborate with Computational Chemistry and AI R&D teams, and contribute to platform upgrades while ensuring high-quality project delivery and documentation.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree or higher in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines; familiar with organic synthesis principles and able to design experiments.
• Strong project management and coordination skills; interested in automation and active in automated synthesis work.
• Fluent in both Chinese and English, with clear logical thinking and fast-paced R&D adaptability.
• Advocate for automation and intelligent technologies in chemical synthesis.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop synthesis plans and deliver automated synthesis on schedule with data integrity.
• Collaborate with Computational Chemistry and AI R&D teams to optimize plans based on algorithm predictions.
• Upgrade and iterate automated synthesis platforms; improve throughput and stability.
• Prepare SOPs and experimental reports for standardized project documentation.
• Operate and maintain automated synthesis platforms to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Manage projects and communicate with clients to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Identify environmental factors and hazards and implement control measures.
