Job summary

Motionwell Automation Pte Ltd in Woodlands, Singapore is seeking an entry-level to mid-level electrical assembler to support automation projects. You will perform electrical wiring, assemble control panels, and connect sensors and motors under supervision.

This role requires reading basic electrical drawings and diagrams, familiarity with wiring tools, and a hands-on, team-focused approach. Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field (NITEC/Higher NITEC/ Diploma).
• Experience in machine wiring or control panel wiring preferred.
• Ability to read basic electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Familiar with electrical components and hand tools.
• Willing to perform both electrical and mechanical assembly as required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical wiring and assembly for automation machines and control panels.
• Read and follow electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Carry out cable cutting, crimping, labelling, routing and termination.
• Install and connect electrical components, sensors, motors and control devices.
• Perform basic electrical testing and troubleshooting.
• Assist with mechanical assembly and machine installation according to project requirements.
• Support mechanical assembly when electrical wiring has not commenced or when additional manpower is required.
• Ensure assembly work is completed accurately and according to the project schedule.
• Maintain tools, equipment and a clean working environment.
• Perform other assembly-related duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
