Job description
Autism Therapist

Pathlight School is the first autism-focused school in Singapore to offer the national curriculum together with life readiness skills. It caters to students on the autism spectrum with related conditions, aged 7 to 18 years, who are cognitively able to access the national curriculum but require additional support such as smaller class sizes, special accommodations and teaching staff trained in autism.

The team at Autism Intervention, Training & Consultancy (AITC) provides training and consultancy services for professionals and caregivers, as well as direct intervention services for individuals on the autism spectrum.

Impact and Contribution
  • Develop and deliver individualised behavioural plans in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Plan and deliver programmes for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the area of Life Readiness skills (e.g. self-regulation, work habits, social and thinking skills)
  • Manage and respond to an emergency support line for school staff requiring immediate support for behavioural support
  • Plan and train stakeholders on ASD related topics
  • Participate in team assessments for school admissions
Requirements
  • Min. Degree in Psychology or related fields
