Job summary

KPMG in Singapore is seeking an Audit professional with 1-4 years of experience to work in a team-based environment. The role involves understanding client businesses, performing audits per plan, and ensuring sufficient audit evidence and clear conclusions are presented.

The ideal candidate will hold an accountancy degree or professional qualification and possess strong communication, analytical, and business acumen.

Qualifications

• A recognised degree in Accountancy and/or professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPA Australia or equivalent.
• Brings along 1 - 4 years of experience in handling a portfolio of listed clients.
• A good understanding of pertinent business and risk management issues and familiarity with the relevant regulatory and reporting standards.
• Excellent communications skills, strong analytical skills and excellent business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Working in teams to acquire an in-depth understanding of our client’s business; carry out the audit based on audit planning, prepare appropriate audit work papers.
• Understanding the relationships between objectives of the audit sections, the need for sufficiency of audit evidence, and presentation of the conclusions.
