Job summary

KPMG in Singapore invites applications for an audit professional to work within a dynamic team environment. You will help understand clients' businesses, perform audits, and contribute to audit papers and conclusions.

The ideal candidate holds an Accountancy degree with ACA/ACCA/CPA Australia or equivalent and has 1–4 years of experience with listed clients, strong communication, and risk-management awareness.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy and professional accounting qualifications such as ACA/ACCA/CPA Australia or equivalent.
• 1–4 years of experience handling a portfolio of listed clients.
• Good understanding of business and risk management issues and regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills with strong business acumen.

• Working in teams to acquire an in-depth understanding of our client’s business;
• Carrying out the audit based on audit planning, prepare appropriate audit work papers;
• Understanding the relationships between objectives of the audit sections, the need for the sufficiency of audit evidence, and presentation of the conclusions

The ideal candidate should have:

• A recognised degree in Accountancy and/or professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPA Australia or equivalent
• Brings along 1 - 4 years of experience in handling a portfolio of listed clients
• A good understanding of pertinent business and risk management issues and familiarity with the relevant regulatory and reporting standards
• Excellent communications skills, strong analytical skills and excellent business acumen
