Job summary

Univers is seeking an intern to provide supervised support for the Internal Audit function during FY2026, as we progress SOX/IPO readiness and related governance activities across IT/cyber and AI governance. The role focuses on documentation, evidence collation, and tracker maintenance to support audit readiness and continuous improvement.

The intern will work under supervision with the Director and cross-functional teams to ensure evidence organization, testing, and reporting are structured,

Responsibilities

• Internal Audit Documentation and Workpaper Support: prepare walkthrough notes, document process discussions, collate audit evidence, organise workpapers, populate templates, maintain follow-up logs, and implement continuous monitoring test plans with automation.
• SOX / IPO Readiness Support: maintain risk & control matrices, track sign-off and evidence status, update readiness playbooks and gap trackers, maintain dashboards and sign-off logs, support increasing evidence requirements during IPO/SOX readiness period.
• ERM and Risk Governance Support: update risk register, follow up with risk owners, build ERM reports and heatmaps, maintain owner status logs and trackers, support IT/cyber/AI governance documentation with reviewers' input.
