Job summary

Morningstar Singapore is seeking a diligent Audit Assistant to support external audit fieldwork under supervision. You will prepare audit working papers, assist in documenting procedures, and help prepare financial statements under Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, while building good client relationships.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or ACCA/ISCA, at least 1 year in an audit firm, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to communicate with Chinese-speaking

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or related qualification recognized by ISCA.
• At least 1 year of audit experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and audit software.
• Strong analytical and time management skills.
• Able to communicate with Chinese-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing external audit fieldwork under supervision.
• Support audit team in documentation of audit procedures in accordance with firm and regulatorystandards (e.g., SSA)
• Prepare audit working papers using audit software and templates
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports under Singapore Financial Reporting Standards(SFRs)
• Establish good working relationships with clients and engagement team members.
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by superior
