Job summary

Morningstar Singapore is seeking a diligent Audit Assistant to support external audit fieldwork under supervision. You will prepare audit working papers, assist in documenting procedures, and help prepare financial statements under Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, while building good client relationships.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or ACCA/ISCA, at least 1 year in an audit firm, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to communicate with Chinese-speaking

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or related qualification recognized by ISCA.
• At least 1 year of audit experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and audit software.
• Strong analytical and time management skills.
• Able to communicate with Chinese-speaking clients.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification recognised by ISCA
• At least 1 year’s working experience in audit firm
• Proficient in computer skills & Ms Office
• Team player with strong analytical skills and time management skills, attention to detail
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards
• Need to communicate with Chinese speaking clients
• Experience with audits of VCC, shipping companies, commodity trading companies, consolidation and group audits is an advantage
• Candidates who are able to commence work immediately is an advantage
