Job summary

NEXIA SINGAPORE PAC in Singapore is looking for an individual with a strong understanding of financial data and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards. The ideal candidate will perform audits for a portfolio of companies, ensuring effective planning and execution of fieldwork. Candidates should have ACCA or a recognised accounting degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience. Proficiency in Caseware and Excel is advantageous. Enthusiasm for learning is essential.

Qualifications

• ACCA or accounting degree qualification recognised by ISCA.
• Minimum 1 year relevant experience for associate level.
• Working knowledge of Caseware audit software and proficiency in MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits for various companies across different industries.
• Be responsible for planning, execution, and documentation of audit fieldwork.

Job description

• be highly numerate with an ability to interpret and analyse financial data.
• possess sound knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and Singapore Standards on Auditing.
• have strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. The ability to read and interpret technical standards and routine commercial contracts is essential.
• possess a keen enthusiasm for learning and professional development.
• be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

In this role, the candidate is required to:

• perform audits relating to a portfolio of companies across a broad spectrum of industries.
• be responsible for the planning, execution and documentation of audit fieldwork.
• follow up on audit findings independently.

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and experience:

• ACCA or accounting degree qualification which is recognised by ISCA, or have the Chartered Accountant of Singapore qualification.
• a minimum of 1 year relevant experience for associate level.
• a working knowledge of Caseware audit software and high proficiency in MS Excel would be added advantages.
