Job summary

Pinnally PAC is seeking an experienced audit professional to manage assurance engagements by defining audit strategy with the partner and executing in line with firm policies. The role involves personally handling complex procedures and leading teams, while ensuring engagements are delivered efficiently and profitably.

You will monitor progress, provide training, and develop staff while maintaining strong relationships with clients and other assurance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA Singapore qualification or in final stages of attainment.
• At least 3 years of managerial work experience in audit.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to provide guidance and feedback to staff.
• Professionalism and competence in audit environments.
• Proficiency with Caseware is a strong advantage.

About the role

Manage assurance engagements by defining the audit strategy in consultation with the partner and execute it in compliance with the firm's policies and protocols. When required, you\'ll personally execute complex audit procedures and lead teams or parts of teams on engagements, depending on the size of the engagement.

• Manage portfolios and engagements profitably by leading the team to perform efficiently

• Monitor the assurance team\'s progress against the plan and alter it when needed

• Cultivate and manage business development opportunities by understanding the services provided by associate partners and actively assess/present ways to apply knowledge and services

• Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback and on-the-job training

• Develop people by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the assurance team

• Maintain cooperative relationships with other assurance teams

• Develop and maintain long-term productive client relationships and networks

About you

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Obtained or in the final stages of obtaining CPA Singapore qualification

• At least 3 years of related work experience in a managerial role

• Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress

• Contribute ideas and opinions to the assurance teams and listen and respond to other assurance team members\' views

• Demonstrate professionalism and competence in the audit client\'s environment

• Good project management skills

• Integrity within a professional environment

• Working knowledge of Caseware audit software a strong advantage
