Job summary

KHOO TECK PUAT HOSPITAL PTE. LTD. seeks an Audiologist Technician to support ENT services, conducting basic diagnostic hearing assessments for patients of all ages alongside audiologists. You will participate in daily clinic operations, assist with scheduling, and help maintain equipment and supplies.

You will contribute to hearing screenings, calibrations, and routine maintenance to ensure smooth service delivery in a busy ENT clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Participate in day to day operation of the clinic.
• Conduct basic Audiological assessments, such as Otoscopy, Pure Tone Audiometry, Tympanometry, Otoacoustic Emission, High Frequency Audiometry
• Perform hearing screening
• Ensure the smooth running of Audiology Services in ENT Clinic
• Perform daily calibration of equipment
• Maintenance of inventories of supplies
• Assist in scheduling of patients appointment

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of office & test equipment
• Maintenance of inventories of supplies
• Assist in checking in and out of case notes
• Assist in scheduling of patients appointment
• Ad hoc Industrial Screening
• Ad hoc Hearing Screening as requested by the hospital or department
• Perform other duties as assigned by Head of Department, ENT or immediate supervisor

Job description

The purpose of this position is to provide basic diagnostic / screening hearing assessment for patients of all ages so that specialist doctors of ENT Department can make informed decisions concerning patients’ medical care

Audiologist Technician assist Audiologists in performing routine duties

Major Duties and Resposibilites

(A) SPECIFIC (80%)

• Participate in day to day operation of the clinic
• Conduct basic Audiological assessments, such as Otoscopy, Pure Tone Audiometry, Tympanometry, Otoacoustic Emission, High Frequency Audiometry
• Perform hearing screening

(B) GENERAL (20%)

• Ensure the smooth running of Audiology Services in ENT Clinic
• Perform daily calibration of equipment
• Daily disinfect of booth, chair, transducer
• Maintenance of office & test equipment
• Maintenance of inventories of supplies
• Assist in checking in and out of case notes
• Assist in scheduling of patients appointment
