Job summary

Singapore General Hospital in Singapore is seeking a qualified audiologist to join a multidisciplinary team to deliver diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology services in patients.

You will conduct diagnostic hearing assessments, manage hearing aid evaluation and fitting, coordinate referrals to ENT and other departments, and support community clinics and SGH with equipment setup and data management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in audiology or Graduate entry Master's in audiology, speech language & hearing or educational audiology

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic hearing assessments including otoscopy, tympanometry, and pure tone audiometry.
• Provide hearing aid evaluation, fitting, and follow-up.
• Refer patients to ENT, MSW, or other departments when needed.
• Coordinate referrals and manage day-to-day audiology schedule.
• Liaise with vendors for equipment setup and calibration.
• Attend to walk-in, email, and phone enquiries.
• Site in community clinics and SGH.

Job description

You will works in a multidisciplinary team to provide diagnostic and rehabilitative audiological services to patients.

Job Description

• Perform diagnostic hearing assessment such as otoscopic examination, tympanometry and pure tone audiometry for patients from various referral modes (FS, NIC and RSC).
• Provide hearing related services such as hearing aid evaluation, hearing aid fitting, and hearing aid follow-up to patients.
• Appropriate referral of patients to other departments whenever necessary such as ENT, MSW, AIC etc.
• Right - siting of stable hearing loss cases from ENT, SGH to Community Hearing Clinic, TBCHC.
• Keeping track of the data for all referral modes.
• Ordering and receiving hearing aids and accessories.
• Liaise with BME and vendors for equipment setup, calibration and maintenance.
• Ensuring the hearing aid software are up to date.
• Assist in audiology - related project, research etc.
• Attend to walk-in, e-mail and phone enquiries from patients.
• Manage day to day audiology schedule.
• Sited in community clinics and/or SGH
