You will be responsible for setting up sound and lighting equipment for various events, maintaining inventory, and ensuring smooth operations during live events. Qualifications

• Diploma/certificate in audio-visual, live sound engineering, or similar.
• Previous experience as an AV technician is required.

Responsibilities

• Transport, assemble, operate, and repair audio-visual equipment.
• Meet with Event Coordinators to discuss requirements.
• Alter venue arrangements according to layout diagrams.
• Conduct sound and visual quality checks on equipment.
• Operate equipment during live events and troubleshoot issues.

Job Description:

We are looking for a knowledgeable, detail-oriented audio-visual technician to join our team. The responsibilities of the audio-visual technician include transporting equipment, setting up sound and lighting equipment, maintaining and ordering inventory.

To ensure success as an AV technician, you should have advanced knowledge of audio and video equipment, experience with lighting and filming techniques, and excellent troubleshooting skills.

The job will require you to work with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth running of conferences, exhibition, concerts and many more!

Ultimately, we are looking for a technician who should be able to create superb audio and visual effects to enhance any live experience.

Responsibilities:

• To have prior experience in transporting, assembling, operating, and repairing equipment used for events, multimedia production
• Meeting with Event Coordinators to discuss audio, lighting, and video requirements.
• Altering venue arrangements according to layout diagrams.
• Laying electrical and sound cables.
• Setting up and installing microphones, lights, video monitors, projectors, speakers, and video cameras.
• Conducting sound, visual, and performance quality checks on AV equipment.
• Operating sound and visual equipment during live events.
• Troubleshooting equipment and ensuring events run smoothly.
• Maintaining strong customer relations.
• Disassembling audio and visual equipment and packing up after the event.
• Store Packing post event
