Job summary

MINDEF (Ministry of Defence of Singapore) seeks a researcher to lead the design, development, and implementation of audience profiles and frameworks. The role supports MINDEF/SAF's strategy, policy, and planning across public and internal communications and community engagement.

The position requires 6+ years of experience in research with an analytic component, familiarity with SPSS, and exposure to R or Python.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience designing and conducting research studies with an analysis component.
• Basic knowledge in social science analysis.
• Experience using analysis software such as SPSS; experience with R or Python is advantageous.
• Strong critical thinking skills with ability to think quickly and innovatively to solve problems.
• Good organisational acumen and understanding of defence, security, and information environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic recommendations for engaging MINDEF/SAF audiences.
• Coordinate social science studies across MINDEF/SAF audiences.
