Job summary

YM GLOBAL TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior technical lead to drive development and support of ATM and payment-switching solutions using ACI BASE24 in Singapore. You will lead a team, define standards, review designs, and ensure operations meet security and regulatory requirements.

The role focuses on delivering reliable transaction processing, mentoring engineers, and coordinating with stakeholders to implement changes and platform modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in ATM and electronic payment systems.
• Genuine hands-on experience with ACI BASE24-Classic / BASE24-EPS and HP NonStop systems.
• Strong knowledge of TACL, TAL, COBOL, Pathway, Enscribe, SQL/MP; experience with ISO 8583 messaging.
• Proven troubleshooting and production support in transaction processing environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Lead the development and support of ATM and payment-switching solutions using ACI BASE24. Drive technical excellence, manage production support, and deliver projects while ensuring compliance and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and support of ATM and payment-switching solutions using ACI BASE24 to ensure reliable transaction processing
• Provide technical leadership and mentor team members to enhance skills and deliver high-quality solutions
• Define and enforce technical standards, best practices, and operational procedures to maintain system integrity
• Review solution designs, code changes, and deployment plans to ensure alignment with business requirements and technical standards
• Design, develop, and maintain BASE24 applications and custom enhancements to meet evolving business needs
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions for ATM and payment systems
• Support ATM transaction processing, authorization, reconciliation, and settlement functions to ensure seamless operations
• Perform impact assessments and effort estimations for new change requests to facilitate informed decision-making
• Provide Level 3 support for production incidents and critical system issues to minimize downtime and service disruption
• Troubleshoot transaction processing failures and performance issues to restore system functionality promptly
• Coordinate incident resolution with infrastructure, network, vendors, and business teams to ensure timely problem resolution
• Participate in On-Call support and major incident management activities to maintain system availability
• Lead project implementation activities including requirement analysis, design, testing, and deployment to deliver projects on time and within scope
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, and regional teams to align project objectives and execution
• Support system upgrades, migration initiatives, and platform modernization efforts to enhance system capabilities
• Ensure projects are delivered within scope, timeline, and quality expectations to meet business goals
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements to safeguard system integrity and data privacy
• Support risk assessments, disaster recovery testing, and business continuity activities to maintain operational resilience
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and operational procedures to support knowledge sharing and compliance

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline
• 8+ years of experience in ATM and electronic payment systems
• Strong hands‑on experience with ACI BASE24-Classic / BASE24-EPS
• Proficiency in HP NonStop (Tandem) systems
• Strong knowledge of TACL, TAL, COBOL, Pathway, Enscribe, SQL/MP
• Experience with ISO 8583 messaging standards
• Proven troubleshooting and production support skills in transaction processing environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in banking or financial services environments
• Knowledge of card management systems, debit/credit card processing, and payment networks
• Experience with ATM driving, interchange connectivity, and switch integrations
• Familiarity with DevOps, automation, and monitoring tools
