WFD Specialist
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct learning needs analyses to identify existing skill gaps and develop strategies to foster workforce competency development.
- Recommend appropriate internal or external learning methods, tools, and programs to facilitate skill growth within the organization.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and site training representatives to create, review, and effectively deploy training solutions.
- Develop, revise, and enhance course materials utilizing effective instructional design principles.
- Deliver and facilitate classroom or alternative training sessions that empower learners and build capabilities.
- Design learning programs that focus on strengthening AI competencies and upskilling learners for future readiness.
- Support the learning experience platform by handling content migration, curation, and promoting user adoption.
- Develop, implement, and maintain On‑Job Training (OJT) curricula, learning items, and task‑based certification checklists.
- Utilize training metrics, data, and participant feedback to evaluate and improve courses and learning programs.
- Identify opportunities for applying AI and automation solutions to drive operational efficiency and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Ensure all training activities adhere to established standards, guidelines, and policies.
- Standardize business processes and documentation to maintain compliance with quality expectations.
- Develop and maintain dashboards to track Workforce Development KPIs, training compliance, and program effectiveness across different sites.
- Analyze and report data through processes such as extraction, categorization, visualization, and provide recurring updates for stakeholders.
- Conduct skills gap analyses to identify workforce readiness trends and capability needs.
- Measure the return on investment (ROI) of programs using structured data collection and reporting methods.
- Maintain data integrity across learning and HR systems.
- Work closely with both global and local Workforce Development partners to exchange best known methods and align on training initiatives.
- Partner with external organizations to strengthen technical and professional capabilities within the workforce.
- Support governance routines with site WFD teams by tracking milestones and ensuring alignment with central standards.
- Assist in preparing for internal and external audits.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to extract, analyze, and visualize data using tools such as SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
- Experience working collaboratively in team‑based environments.
- Solid foundation in statistics and analytical thinking.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to understand technical concepts and collaborate effectively with a diverse range of partners.
- Experience using Generative AI or automation tools to enhance efficiency and quality of work.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Experience with instructional design methodologies.
