Job summary

Macquarie Group in Singapore invites applications for an Equities Sales Trading role focusing on ASEAN markets. Based in Singapore, you will work with regional research analysts, equity sales and traders to deliver best-in-class services using our global platform.

You will drive the execution process, strengthen client relationships, and help expand market reach in the region, leveraging strong capital markets knowledge and a team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience across institutional equities sales, trading and investment banking.
• Proven ability to establish and manage APAC/global institutional client relationships with revenue growth.
• Deep understanding of capital markets transactions and valuation methodologies.
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication in a collaborative team.
• Detailed knowledge of risk management and operations in a global equity trading environment.

Join our Equities Sales Trading team covering ASEAN markets to be based in Singapore, working alongside our regional research analysts, equity sales and sales traders to deliver best in class investment services leveraging our global platform and reach.

What role will you play?

As a member of our established team, you will be involved in leveraging the various trading tools and platforms to continue to offer our institutional clients new ways to execute through Macquarie globally. Working across regional teams in Asia, you will drive the execution sales process, strengthen existing client relationships and continue to expand our market reach in the region.

What You Offer

• 3-5 years of experience across institutional equities sales, trading and investment banking gained within a global investment bank
• Proven ability in establishing and managing APAC and global institutional client relationships with a strong track record of growing revenues and demonstrated sector expertise within REITs and Real Estate
• Deep understanding of capital markets transactions and valuation methodologies with the ability to combine fundamental research, corporate insight and market expertise to generate differentiated investment ideas
• Thrive in a collaborative team culture with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to communicate ideas succinctly with fluency in English
• Detailed knowledge of risk management, technical and operation procedures within a global institutional equity trading environment.
