Job summary

Macquarie Asset Management, a leading global asset manager, invites applications for a role focused on green investments across Asia. You will manage day-to-day transactions, financial modelling, valuations, due diligence, and internal approvals for new opportunities, while supporting ongoing asset management of existing portfolios.

This position suits numerate professionals with 1+ years in investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance who excel in collaboration and English

Qualifications

• Strong tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as Finance, Economics, Commerce or Accounting.
• 1+ years' experience in investment banking, private equity, infrastructure investment management, advisory or corporate finance.
• Highly numerate with proficiency in building complex financial models and valuation concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management and execution of transactions, including financial modelling and valuations.
• Model audits, due diligence, and managing internal approvals for new investment opportunities.
• Support ongoing asset management, including performance monitoring and value enhancement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across levels to drive deal execution and portfolio optimization.

Join our supportive and high performing Green Investments team which has a mandate to invest across the energy transition. You will primarily focus on the coverage, execution and asset management of green investments opportunities across Asia.

What role will you play?

You will be involved in the day-to-day management and execution of transactions including financial modelling and valuations, model audits, managing due diligence and internal approvals for new investment opportunities.

You will support the ongoing asset management of the existing portfolio including performance monitoring, asset valuation and identifying opportunities for value enhancement including capital management initiatives.

• Strong tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as Finance, Economics, Commerce or Accounting
• 1+ years' experience in investment banking, private equity, infrastructure investment management, advisory or corporate finance
• Highly numerate with proficiency in building complex financial models and valuation concepts with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with other language skills considered a positive
• Highly motivated, proactive and resilient with the ability to work as a team player.
