Job summary

Element Materials Technology in Singapore is seeking a Test Technician to perform routine and non-routine testing assignments under supervision within the operations team. You will ensure timely and accurate test results while adhering to safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies.

You will prepare specimens, perform customer-specified tests, collect data, and maintain lab fixtures under the guidance of senior technicians.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a testing related field.
• Basic understanding of testing concepts.
• Possess computer skills.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry is a plus.

Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Test Technician to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team in one of the various laboratories across Element, the Associate Test Technician position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under direct supervision. The technician positions must be proficient in a number of core business skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures.

Skills / Qualifications

• Working knowledge of laboratory safety
• 0-2 years’ experience in a testing related field
• Basic understanding of testing concepts
• Possess computer skills.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry a plus

Physical Demands

• Frequency of required physical force: Minimum (moderate).
• Lifting requirements: lifting <50 lbs. often and > 50 lbs. on occasion
• Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 50+lbs periodically
