Job summary

Element is seeking a Test Technician to join its expanding operations team. The role involves installing, testing and maintaining instrumentation on site, calibrating instruments, collecting data, and supporting engineers and surveyors.

You will prepare daily reports and ensure safety and project requirements are met across field environments. Ideal candidates will have basic knowledge of instrumentation, the ability to troubleshoot on site, and readiness to work overtime or night shifts in

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of instrumentation and monitoring equipment.
• Ability to install and test sensors and monitoring devices.
• Able to troubleshoot simple technical issues on site.
• Able to read basic drawings and instructions.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word).
• Good understanding of safety rules on a construction site.
• Able to work in an outdoor, tunnel, or confined space environment.
• Willing to work overtime or night shift when required.
• Experience in construction or monitoring work is an advantage.

Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Test Technician to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team in one of the various laboratories across Element, the Associate Test Technician position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under direct supervision. The technician positions must be proficient in a number of core business skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures.
