Job summary

COMMUNITY PSYCHOLOGY HUB LTD. is seeking an Associate Psychologist to work with adults with developmental disabilities in Day Activity Centre, Sheltered Workshop or Residential settings.

You will provide psychological services and consult with staff and caregivers within a multidisciplinary social service agency. The role involves independent work and collaboration with the team to support clients with behavioural concerns and mental health needs, along with opportunities for professional

Qualifications

• Honours degree in Psychology is required.
• Experience with developmental disabilities or similar settings is advantageous.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments to facilitate placements and evaluate cognitive functioning.
• Deliver interventions as part of a multidisciplinary team to support individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Co-design and implement individualized and group programs, including Positive Behaviour Support.
• Provide supervision and participate in professional development activities.
• Attend meetings and prepare monthly KPI and activity reports.
