Job summary

BENEO seeks a Regulatory Affairs professional to monitor regulatory changes in the Asia Pacific region, coordinating with the RA Manager to ensure BENEO ingredients meet current regulations. You will co-develop position papers and dossiers for regulatory submissions to authorities, supporting internal teams and customers.

With 1–3 years of experience in food regulatory affairs, you will help shape compliance strategies, leveraging scientific principles and international standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level – food science background.
• 1 - 3 years of experience in food regulatory affairs role or related role within the food industry.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze the impact of regulatory changes in the Asia Pacific region and communicate to stakeholders in coordination with the RA Manager to ensure compliance of BENEO ingredients with current regulations.
• Co-develop position papers / comments on draft regulations for submission to Authorities.
• Co-develop dossiers for submission of product approvals and health claims to Authorities to facilitate market entry and compliance with local regulation.
• Support the RA Manager in providing regulatory feedback to internal and external stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance for BENEO ingredients.
• Support development of regulations or standards relevant to BENEO ingredients based on scientific principles and international standards.

Your Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze the impact of and identify opportunities and threats from regulatory changes / development in the Asia Pacific region and communicate to internal- and external stakeholders (customers) in coordination with the RA Manager in order to ensure compliance of BENEO ingredients with the current regulation.
• Co-develop with the RA Manager position papers / comments on draft regulations for submission to Authorities in order to influence that regulations are developed based on scientific principles and international standards.
• Co-develop dossiers for submission of product approvals and health claims application to Authorities in order to co-facilitate market entry and comply with local regulation.
• Support the RA Manager in providing regulatory feedbacks to various internal- (sales, quality, marketing, CTS, …) and external stakeholders (customers) in order to ensure compliance of BENEO ingredients with the current regulation.
• Support the development of regulations or standards relevant to BENEO ingredients in order to influence that regulations are developed based on scientific principles and international standards.

Your Profile

Thinking Level And/or Experience Required For The Role

• Bachelor level – food science background
• 1 - 3 years of experience in food regulatory affairs role or related role within the food industry

Technical Skills (including Language(s)) Required For The Role

• English
• Proficiency in additional languages such as Chinese, Indonesian, Thai or Japanese would be an advantage
