Job description

Our client, a global food and functional ingredients manufacturer is expanding its team in Singapore and hiring for a Regulatory Executive.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Regulatory Affairs, you will develop a thorough understanding of regulations and monitor legislation developments in the APAC countries to identify impact and opportunities for the company's functional ingredients. There will also be cross-functional interactions with the Sales & Marketing and Technical teams to help develop proposals for regulatory submissions. Besides being a regulatory advocate, the Regulatory Affairs Executive will also support the team to address regulatory queries from internal stakeholders and customers in the region.

Requirements

Ideally, you have a Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or Chemistry with at least 2 years of working experience. To be successful in this role, you need to have an interest in regulatory affairs, be inquisitive, analytical, have a desire to advance regulatory standards and have some commercial acumen in identifying business opportunities for your ingredients from the regulatory standpoint. We are also looking for someone who communicates and writes clearly, detail-oriented, open-minded and a great team player.
