Mighty Jaxx International Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Associate Legal Counsel to support our global legal team in IP management, contract drafting, and compliance. You will work closely with business units to handle licensing, disputes, and internal processes in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ PQE, strong drafting skills, and experience in IP, commercial, and corporate law, with a collaborative, proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in Singapore or another recognised common law jurisdiction.
• 2+ PQE with experience in contract drafting and IP work.
• Strong understanding of commercial, IP, and corporate law principles.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage and maintain the IP portfolio across trademark and copyright matters.
• Draft and review licensing, sales, distribution, vendor contracts, and NDAs.
• Conduct legal research on IP, commercial, regulatory and cross-border issues.
• Support governance, board resolutions, and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in designing scalable internal legal processes.

Your Role

Mighty Jaxx is seeking an Associate Legal Counsel to support our Legal team in managing a wide range of commercial, intellectual property, disputes, and compliance matters to drive our growth globally. You will report to the Legal Counsel and work closely with business units to support intellectual property (IP) management, dispute resolution, review and draft contracts, and assist in internal employee training and building scalable internal legal processes. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure across multiple practice areas and industries, particularly in IP, technology, and consumer products, within a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Mighty Jaxx’s IP portfolio, including trademark and copyright registrations, renewals, and enforcement actions.

• Conduct legal research on IP, commercial, regulatory, and cross-border issues relevant to the Mighty Jaxx’s operations.

• Review and draft a variety of legal documents, including licensing agreements, sales and distribution agreements, vendor contracts, and NDAs.

• Identify, assess, and communicate potential legal and compliance risks to internal stakeholders.

• Assist in designing and implementing internal legal processes, policies, and templates to support business growth.

• Support the Legal Counsel on litigation, dispute resolution, and complex transactional matters.

• Support corporate governance matters, including board and shareholder resolutions, company secretarial filings, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in Singapore or another recognised common law jurisdiction; At least 2+ PQE preferred.

• Prior experience in a reputable law firm or in-house legal team, with experience in contract drafting and intellectual property work.

• Strong understanding of commercial, intellectual property, and corporate law principles.

• Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic environment.

• Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented, with strong stakeholder management skills.

• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
