Job summary

Montfort Care in Singapore is seeking an Associate Lead Social Worker to deliver independent social services, mentor staff, and lead group and community work initiatives. You will establish partnerships, oversee casework, and contribute to department leadership to achieve sustainable outcomes for clients and families.

The role requires a degree in social work, 6–8 years of relevant experience, and strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Possess Degree in Social Work or Degree with a Graduate Diploma in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• At least 6-8 years of relevant experience in a Social Service setting; accreditation with Singapore Association of Social Workers would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on needs and intake assessments for complex cases.
• Prepare case notes and documents for assigned cases.
• Formulate casework intervention plans and implement care plans.
• Review models of care and service delivery aligned to evidence-based practice.
• Lead crisis cases with partner organisations and agencies.
• Supervise junior staff individually and in groups.
• Lead environmental scans and community need assessments.
• Establish strategic partnerships to mobilise community resources.
• Coordinate audits and support department operations.
