LaSalle Investment Management in Singapore is seeking an experienced accounting professional to support the growth of its regional private equity business. The role focuses on timely, accurate financial reporting and investor communications.

You will maintain entity records, manage payments and cash flows, assist in audits, and collaborate with JV partners and service providers. This is an on-site position requiring strong Chinese business communication.

Qualificações

• Degree or Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Minimum 5–6 years of relevant working experience.
• Audit experience and real estate industry exposure preferred but not mandatory.
• Consolidation experience and Yardi system proficiency preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain accounting records for investment holding entities monthly or quarterly.
• Oversee payments, wire transfers, FX settlements and daily cash flow management.
• Assist in external audits of client vehicles and tax filing support.
• Coordinate with JV partners, asset managers and outsourced providers on finance, reporting and taxes.
• Support treasury activities: cash flow management, cash balances, loan administration.

Position Overview

• To provide best-in-class investor accounting and finance support for the growth of the firm’s regional private equity business
• To empower informed decision‑making by delivering critical, timely and accurate information to the business and investors
• This role will be contracted under a Third‑Party Vendor and work onsite at LaSalle Singapore office

Responsibilities will include:

Accounting & reporting

• Maintain/oversee accounting records for investment holding entities on a monthly or quarterly basis as assigned and in compliance with the Yardi Rulebook
• Prepare/oversee the preparation of payments, wire transfers processing (including settlement of FX transactions) & daily cash flow management of the investment holding entities & property holding entities as assigned
• Assist in the annual external audit of client vehicles
• Assist with tax and BAS filing, and together with the legal and compliance team, support corporate secretarial compliance and entity maintenance/ compliance & reporting
• Implement and ensure compliance with internal controls

Client reporting

• Assist portfolio managers and asset managers with investors’ requests & inquiries on financial and accounting information
• Preparation of investor NAV statements
• Reporting to investors on a monthly or quarterly basis.

Transactions/deal related

• Provide transactional and analytical support to portfolio managers and asset managers on real estate transactions (dispositions, restructuring, financing/refinancing)
• Assist with capital structuring and tax planning for restructuring, where applicable
• Review and analyze financial results reported by property holding subsidiaries, including proper conversion from local GAAPs to IFRS
• Co‑ordinate and liaise with JV partners, portfolio managers, asset managers, investors, outsourced accounting & tax service providers on finance, reporting & tax matters, liquidity and cash‑flow management, queries on portfolio’s performance & financial forecasts
• Treasury
  • Maintain appropriate cash flow processes to enable efficient management of cash balances;
  • Cash management
  • Assist in loan administration and regular monitoring of loan covenants to ensure adherence to project loans

Others

• To provide support for “One LaSalle”, LaSalle’s global initiative to establish a global operating platform
• Administrative or other tasks as assigned from time to time

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
• Minimum 5 – 6 years of relevant working experience
• Audit experience and experience in real estate industry a preference, but not a must
• Consolidation experience and experience in Yardi system preferred
• Proficiency in written and spoken business Chinese
• Client focused, confident and have highest level of integrity
• Self‑starter, organized, meticulous and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds in the Asia Pacific region including liaising with JV partners, asset managers, outsource agents, bankers, auditors and consultants
